Maths at home

  • Create a pictograph of your family members favourite foods, animals, ice-cream flavour
  • Create a tally chart with things like cars going past
  • Read numbers on letter boxes and road signs.
  • Add sets of objects together
  • Cooking – counting and measuring
  • Make your own pizza or pancake and cut it into halves and then quarters
  • Fill some glasses with different amounts of water and create your own musical xylophone
